In my town, I haven't seen a Genesis in 3 years. So, basically, have you ever found a system or game that just became out of reach really fast?

About a year before the release of Brawl, my brother took it upon himself to lend our copy of Melee to a friend.
The friend sat on it and broke it.
Needless to say, unless you're willing to fork out vast sums, it's quite hard to get a copy of Melee...
Also, if you're ever in Australia, we have a chain store called Gametraders which also tends to sell old/obscure games and systems. You can still buy SNES, NES, MD/Genesis and all other manner of games there. They even have ROB, but I don't know whether it's for sale or not.

I got Melee in a near perfect state last year for $15. Worst game I got from them? Used first model PS2 that broke 7 hours after I bought it. I opened it up, and it had 12 dust bunnies. Go figure.
